Birthday dinner pin board

Standard

Learning a new technique using artisan 6 software to create a pin board style page. I had a few pics from my birthday dinner this summer that I thought would be perfect for this style. I am very pleased with how the page turned out. #digiscrapping #digitalscrapbook #digitalscrapbooking #digitalscrapbooklayout #memorykeeping #modernmemorykeeping #digiscrap #papercrafter #scrapbooking #digitalscrapbook

Once Upon A Time …

Standard

I decided to create a digital page using an undated photo of my brother and I from the early 1970s. I created the page using Artisan 6 software. I love the flexibility of digital scrapbooking which allows me to create an entire page from an old 3×5 photo.

Life CAPTURED !!

Standard

After a brief break from crafting (a much needed vacation came first!) I was excited to get back to scrapbooking this week. This digital page is a nod to the current viral trend using the Voila app to animate yourself as well as your friends and family. I definitely had fun making cartoon versions of us! Page designed using Artisan6 software.

Anchor Down!

Standard

I adore this class photo of my youngest but never knew the best way to scrap it. Yesterday I played with some paper tearing techniques using artisan 6 software and this was what I came up with. I am very pleased with how the page turned out. #digiscrapping #digitalscrapbook #digitalscrapbooking #digitalscrapbooklayout #memorykeeping #modernmemorykeeping #digiscrap #papercrafter #scrapbooking #digitalscrapbook

A Day at Epcot – Scrapbook Album

Standard

Spent this weekend participating in a virtual scrapbooking retreat. My friends and I were on zoom from our craft rooms. So happy that I completed an entire album. It was my MIL first trip to Disney. So glad we were able to go last year!

Vow Renewal

Standard

I was playing around with textured shapes and was inspired to create this digital page about our vow renewal in Maui in 2018. After the crazy year we’ve had, I am dreaming of a return trip ❤️

My Favorite Children’s Book

Standard

Today’s layout challenge had me thinking about a favorite childhood book and the lessons learned from it. Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak was one story I treasured and read countless times. When my sons were little it was also one of their favorites! It is a children’s story but the lessons work for adults as well.

Paper and stickers from Paper House. Title designed using silhouette business edition software and cut on a Silhouette Cameo.

Rome

Standard

Rome had always been a city I dreamed of visiting. My husband felt the same way. We almost went there for our honeymoon but the cost was a bit steep for us at the time. We both agreed that “someday” we would go there together. It took us twenty years but we finally made it to “the Eternal City” and it was as spectacular as we had hoped. We may have had to wait two decades but it was definitely worth the trip!
