Vacations are always a good idea. Add great friends to the mix and you’ve made the trip even better! My husband and I are lucky to have another couple we love to travel with. Oh the places we want to go! Hopefully this year we can travel with them again! Layouts designed using Artisan 6 software.
One of the best trips we’ve ever taken was to Palm Springs, California with my in-laws. From the top of the mountains to the fault lines in the desert, my in-laws were a little out of their comfort zone but we all had such a great time! From riding in an open jeep through the desert to feeling the tremors and even exploring a cave or two, our desert tour was unforgettable! Page designed using Artisan software.
Seems like ages ago that I went to the Mall of America in Minnesota on a girls’ trip with my bestie. While there I went to GLAMOUR SHOTS (a mall staple back in the day!) and had a blast taking these pics. While I printed a few individual photos for my husband and parents when they were taken, I’m so glad I finally scrapped the photo shoot! Page designed in Artisan software.
I adore this mixed media project that I created in a class some time ago with my friend Shannon. I used a collage background, as well as stencils, stamps, texture paste, pears pens, and gelatos to create this piece.
Missing my mom and partner in crime so much! She was a funny, quirky lady who never took herself too seriously. I’ll miss that! We took a trip to Busch Gardens about 4 months ago and had a blast. I made this page for her and she loved it. Today is her memorial so I thought it was a good day to share this layout. Enjoy Every Moment. Isn’t that the truth! It’s how she tried to live her life as do I!
Chloe lost her Grandma just the other day and I know how hard this will be for her. My mother-in-law was an awesome lady. She was an amazing mom, grandma, and dog-grandma. When she first met Chloe she wasn’t much of a dog person. Chloe won her over pretty quickly and the two of them shared an incredible bond! She will be missed so much by all of us.
Today’s card is called a triangle fold card. I love sending homemade cards to friends and family but, sometimes, my timing is a bit off! So I decide to make a belated birthday card (might need to make a few more!)

This was my first time using alcohol inks on tile and I was very happy with the results. I used an eye dropper as well as a straw to gently direct the ink where I wanted! Definitely need to play with this medium again! Supplies: a basic white tile from Home Depot and alcohol inks from Ranger.
